Precautions for Outage and Cleaning of Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger
 During the use or outage of the spiral plate heat exchanger, we must do a good job of maintaining it, so as to protect and use the spiral plate heat exchanger well and reduce the loss. If this work is not done well, it is easy to cause the heat exchanger to fail and cause losses. 1. Precautions during outage
The anti-corrosion problem of the spiral plate heat exchanger is a key issue. During the maintenance process, all corrosive media in dead corners should be removed and the surface should be kept clean and dry, because if the heat exchanger is in a humid environment, if there is dirt on the surface, it is easy to corrode, so it is necessary to prevent leakage and moisture. When it is out of service, it should be inspected to check for corrosion. If the paint falls off, it should be repaired in time to avoid deterioration.

2. Precautions when cleaning
(1) When the spiral plate heat exchanger is under heat, pressure, or liquid, or during operation, it is strictly forbidden to open the heat exchanger.
(2) The flushing of the spiral plate heat exchanger should be carried out with clean water, and nothing else should be used.
(3) The steam temperature of the nitrile gasket should not exceed 132 ° C, and the steam temperature of the EPDM gasket should not exceed 177 ° C.
(4) If a chlorine-containing cleaning medium is used to clean the heat exchanger, a small concentration is used, and the cleaning time of the plate should be short, the contact time should not exceed 10 minutes, and the solution temperature should not exceed 37 ° C. (5) Use a centrifugal pump to keep the cleaning solution circulating, and no other equipment can be used.
(6) The plates of the spiral plate heat exchanger cannot be cleaned with hydrochloric acid. After cleaning with a chemical solution, it must be rinsed with water without any residue.
