Cleaning methods for plate heat exchangers
Plate heat exchanger is an important device for recovering exhaust energy, high-temperature flue gas waste heat, and computer CPU heat dissipation in large-scale air conditioning systems. The structure has a vacuum filled liquid head and a core. The vacuum filled liquid head is located on both sides of the vacuum filled liquid channel, with one side of the vacuum filled liquid head having a connecting pipe. The core is composed of a vacuum filled liquid channel and several plate fin channels stacked at intervals. The vacuum filling channel is equipped with partitions above and below, seals on both sides, and fins can be installed inside the channel. There are partitions above and below the plate fin channel, seals on both sides, and fins inside the channel. Each fin channel is separated by a seal into two parallel channels for heat and cold media. After assembly, the overall arrangement is horizontally inclined or vertically arranged.
According to the form of the heat exchanger, sufficient space should be left at both ends of the heat exchanger to meet the needs of condition (operation) cleaning and maintenance. When installing a fixed tube plate heat exchanger, sufficient space should be left at both ends to allow for the extraction and replacement of pipes. Moreover, when using mechanical methods to clean the inside of the pipe, both ends can be brushed and cleaned. The fixed head cover end of the floating head heat exchanger should have sufficient space to allow the tube bundle to be extracted from the shell, and the outer head cover end must also have a position of more than one meter for easy installation and removal of the outer head cover and floating head cover. The fixed head cover of the U-shaped tube heat exchanger should leave sufficient space for extracting the tube bundle, and sufficient space can also be left at its opposite end for disassembling the shell.
When using chemical cleaning, it is necessary to analyze and test the quality of the scale formed according to the actual situation and water quality, and prepare chemical cleaning agents separately.
As the difficulty of cleaning increases rapidly with the thickness or deposition of the scale layer, the cleaning interval should not be too long. Regular inspections, repairs, and cleaning should be carried out according to the characteristics of the production equipment, the properties of the heat exchange medium, corrosion rate, and operating cycle.
