Characteristics of spiral plate heat exchanger
1. High heat transfer efficiency (good performance)
It is generally believed that the heat transfer efficiency of spiral plate heat exchangers is 1-3 times higher than that of tube-and-tube sheet heat exchangers. Single channels with uniform cross-section do not have flow dead zones, and the disturbance to flow caused by fixed-distance columns and spiral channels reduces the critical Reynolds number of the fluid. In water-water heat exchange, the heat transfer coefficient of spiral plate heat exchangers can reach 3000W/(㎡·K).

Due to the spiral flow of the medium, it has self-cleaning capabilities, making it less prone to dirt deposition. It is easy to clean, as it can be flushed with steam or alkali solution.
